Library and Data Services for MSB Faculty

Home of subject librarians, including the Business Librarian: Jennifer Boettcher. This department supports student learning, pedagogical design, facilitates access to tution-sponsored materials, oversees Government Documents, and staff the Reference Desk and other points of service. I'm also responsible for building print, ebook, media, and area library collections.

Faculty can borrow, renew, and page material and Now have items delivered to their offices; also submit course reserves and Interlibrary Loan (ILL) requests. This Department provides carrels, lost and found, items from Riggs Library, shelf maintenance, and represents GU in WRLC.

The Center trains people on media software and media equipment and space, for production. They also provide fee-based production services.

Those working in Lauinger and Blommer Libraries are supported by the LIT. They help you with connecting your laptop and other devices to the WiFi; allow you to print on the library's printers; and facilitate off-campus access to the databases.
They are the homes of Digital Scholarship where faculty and others can learn about using digital technology in their research and Digital Georgetown the University’s institutional repository and digital collections.

Contains more than the business-related collections mentioned below. They also collect for the University Archives, so you can clean out your files or search through Georgetown University history. They welcome donations and gifts of art works, rare books, manuscripts, and primary source materials. They hosted the 60 Years of Business: The Story of Georgetown's Business School exhibit.

Carrels are designed to facilitate research and provide a quiet atmosphere for study. Only Main Campus teaching faculty may obtain a Lauinger Library faculty carrel space. Library carrel privileges are nontransferable. Teaching and research assistants, visiting researchers, students, colleagues, friends or family members should not use your carrel. Due to high demand and space limitations, faculty carrels may be shared by up to three faculty members. A refundable $40.00 key deposit is also required.

On the top floor of the Library, overlooking the Potomac River, this is a great space to host events for groups under 50. The Murray Room is available to university faculty and staff for academic meetings and university-sponsored events. It is not available for use as a classroom or for non-university-related activities. All requests, scheduling, and arrangements are handled by the Program and Events Coordinator in Library Administration.
