The Maryland Province Archives have been used to support research in a variety of subjects and across many disciplines. The collection is particularly strong in the following areas:
- Society of Jesus (Jesuits)
- Slavery, the Jesuits, and Georgetown
- African American Life
- Genealogy
In addition, the collection offers rich research possibilities in other areas, including - but certainly not limited to - gender studies, class relations, immigration, race relations, and education.
Researchers with specific areas of interest should be sure to examine the finding aid and contact Booth staff about locating relevant materials.
