Why not try Pro?

Development for ArcMap ended in 2020 but Esri will continue to provide key updates and patches until March 1, 2026. The current ArcMap version 10.8.x will be the last. Esri's development efforts have instead been focused on ArcGIS Pro as ArcMap's replacement. You get access to ArcGIS Pro through Georgetown University Library. Why not try it out?
