Those working in Lauinger and Blommer Libraries are supported by the LIT. They help you with connecting your laptop and other devices to the WiFi; allow you to print on the library's printers; and facilitate off-campus access to the databases.
They are the homes of Digital Scholarship where faculty and others can learn about using digital technology in their research and Digital Georgetown the University’s institutional repository and digital collections.
"The Maker Hub, is Georgetown's only makerspace open to all students, staff, and faculty. We promote innovation and hands-on learning through workshops, curricular engagement, and one-on-one project mentorship. Most of our tools are free to use, and our community of staff and volunteers are available during open hours to teach you how to use the equipment and turn hour ideas into reality.."
"The Idea Lab is designed to facilitate communication and ideation. It's equipped with whiteboard tables and other supplies to help groups come together to discuss problems and sketch potential solutions."
