Bio-protocolFreely available peer-reviewed e-journal/database of protocols in the life sciences, created by Stanford researchers. Its mission: to make life-science research more efficient and reproducible by curating and hosting high quality, open-access, life science protocols.
Publication in Bio-protocol is by invitation only, and articles undergo peer review to ensure reproducibility. while the goal is to curate a comprehensive but easy-to-use depository of life science protocols, some protocols here offer only summary sketches for lab work (i.e., researchers must consult the full research article for explanations about data analysis plans, consent forms, explanation of the need for the research, hypotheses).
