Latin American, Spanish, and Portuguese Manuscript Collections

This guide will introduce researchers to manuscript collections related to Latin America, the Caribbean, Spain and Portugal that are held by the Booth Family Center for Special Collections (BFCSC). These collections include a variety of materials, including letters, photographs, diaries, reports, scrapbooks, business and governmental records, printed materials, maps, and audiovisual media. Please note that the BFCSC has traditionally collected materials related to U.S. diplomacy, the development of the Panama Canal, and the work of Jesuits and their missionary activities--these collections primarily reflect those perspectives.
