Ways to share YouTube Content
Share videos

Start watching a video on youtube.com.

Under the video, click Share
.
- A panel will open, presenting different sharing options:
- Social networks: Click a social network icon (for example, Facebook, Twitter) to share the video there.
- Email: Choose the email icon to send an email using the default email software on your computer.
- Embed: Click the Embed button to generate a code you can use to embed the video in a website.
- Copy the link: Click the Copy button to copy a link to the video that you can paste somewhere else, like in an email message.
- Start at: To link to a specific part of the video, check this box and enter the start time before you copy the link. For example, to start the video at 2 minutes and 30 seconds, check the box and enter “2:30.”
- Community post: If you have access to the Community tab, you can share a video in a public post.
Share channels

Go to the Channel page.

In the browser address bar, copy the URL.

Paste the URL wherever you want to share it.
If you're a creator and you want to create a custom channel URL for your subscribers to easily share, add your YouTube Channel name to the YouTube URL.
Share a link

Go to the video you’d like to share.

Under the video player, tap Share

Select Copy link, or select an app to share the link directly via that app.

You can either:

Select a friend or tap Add friends.

Select "Create a post" if you have access to the Community tab.

You can share videos and chat about them with one or more friends in a conversation. To view all of your shared videos, go to the Inbox tab 
. When you send a video to someone "You may know," they'll get an invitation to connect with you. However, they won't see your shared video until they accept the friend request. Learn more about how to add friends on YouTube.
Note: Sharing in the YouTube app is not available on tablets.
Share a link

Go to the video you’d like to share.

Under the video player, tap Share

Select Copy link, or select an app to share the link directly via that app.

Sharing Google Drive content with an Android, iPhone or iPad
Step 1: Find the file you want to share
Choose how you want to share a file:

On your Android device, iPhone or iPad, open the app for Google Drive.

Next to the file’s name, tap More
.

Tap Share.
Step 2: Choose who to share with & how they can use your file
*Specific People

Under "Share with people," enter the email address you want to share with.

Important: If you share with an email address that isn’t a Google Account, they’ll only be able to view the file.

To decide what people can do with your file when you share it, at the bottom, tap the Down arrow
.

If you don’t want to send an email to people, tap Advanced and uncheck the Notify people box. If you notify people, each email address you enter will be included in the email.

Tap Done.
*Anyone with a link to the file
You can send other people a link to your file so anyone with the link can use it. When you share a link to a file, your name will be visible as the owner of the file.

Open the file you want to share.

Tap Share or Share
.

Under “Get Link," on the right, tap the Down arrow

Choose who to share the file with.

To decide what people can do with your file when you share it, select an option.

Tap Copy
Done.

Copy and paste the link in an email or any place you want to share it.
*Share a file or folder publicly

Select the file you want to share.

Tap Share or Share

Under “Get Link,” tap Link settings
.

Select Public link
-
Tap Done.

Copy and paste the link in an email or any place you want to share it.
