Legacies that Shaped Global Awareness (1900-present)

 

The Recommended Readings for May and June highlight authors that shaped global awareness through self-expression or research. 

The Autobiographies and Primary Voices section focuses on authors around the globe who wrote about their life-experience and earned support beyond their local communities or governments. Oral histories, speeches, and collections of primary documents are also included the reading selection. 

Additional sections highlight authors who influenced global awareness through fiction, interpretation, or extensive research. All book or DVD titles in the display can be reviewed by scrolling down.
