Writing to Share Your Knowledge

Do you find passion in your studies? Want to show off your writing skills and earn extra cash? Want to impress your relatives? These are all good reasons to write for your local paper, trade press, general-interest magazines, and online publications. Join us to learn about a normal publication process for non-scholarly writing and explore how to find the right venue for your writing. At the end of our time, you will have a worksheet where you can decide on what type of venue you will aim for, a possible title of that venue with author instructions, and an appointment with the Writing Center. (Registration: Limit 20)

February 6, 2025 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM

Jennifer C. Boettcher, Business Librarian Online
