Effective Presentation Design & Delivery

Notes

Don't dump all your content on your slides because you are afraid of forgetting something!

Use the notes section in PowerPoint, Keynote, and Google Presentation to keep track of what you want to say during your presentation while keeping your slides clean, concise, and to the point!

Silence is Golden

Instead of making "filler sounds" ("uhhhh") when you are lost or blanking, just be silent. This will give the audience time to digest the information you've already presented without revealing that you lost your place!

Meet & Greet

Wait by the door of the room you are presenting in and greet the crowd! This will help alleviate nervousness and establish a friendly tone with your audience members.

Remote

Use a remote to advance your slides.

This will allow you to move freely and avoid staying glued to your laptop.
