Find Books

Play with subject headings (controlled vocabulary used in cataloging) to help you identify resources. For example, if you look at the subject headings in this book: Arab and Arab American feminisms : gender, violence, and belonging

  • Women,Arab -- Social conditions
  • Feminist theory

You can then use these terms to do searches, by placing them in the "subject" field in the HoyaSearch advanced search option.

MLA Style Resources

The primary reasons for citing sources in a research paper are to give credit to the authors whose work you have drawn upon and to allow readers to track down your sources, should they wish to do so.
