Sharing Via YouTube

Sharing audio files via YouTube currently requires an extra step once you have completed your audio project. YouTube requires a video or image to stand as the placeholder throughout your audio file. You will need to pull your audio into a video editing program, like Apple's iMovie and set the background image to run throughout the duration of your audio project. Example: if you had an audio file that ran 2:36, you bring in your image file into iMovie or video editing application and extend the background image to the length of the audio file. Once you export this file, you can upload it to YouTube through your account.

Upload videos in YouTube Studio
  1. Sign in to YouTube Studio.

  2. In the top right-hand corner, click CREATE Camera icon vector right arrow Upload video.

  3. Select the file you’d like to upload.

Note: You can upload up to 15 videos at a time. Be sure to click Edit Pencil icon on each file to edit your video details.

If you close the upload experience before you finish choosing your settings, your video will be saved as a draft on your Videos page.
