Steps for Creating a Digital Story with Video

  1. Write Script.
  2. Storyboard.
  3. Record voiceover and / or interview people.
    1. Audio and Video equipment can be found on the library website.
  4. Record footage and/or take Photos.
  5. Collect images, video, or audio that have a creative commons license or are in the public domain.
  6. Edit Project in iMovie, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or WeVideo.
    1. For additional help schedule a consultation with a multimedia specialist.
    2. Use the following link to add yourself to the JUPS 218 WeVideo Group.
  7. Cite all images, video, audio and / or credit people interviewed or in your footage.
  8. Save/Export Project File.
  9. Upload or Publish it to YouTube for sharing. (make sure you click unlisted)
