1. Click the three-lined, "hamburger" "Menu" icon in the top left of the Google Scholar page.
2. Click "Settings".
3. Click "Library Links"
4. Type "Georgetown" and click on the appropriate boxes. Save your settings.

Google Scholar FAQs

Q: Why do some search results have "Full Text" or ".pdf" next to the results?
A: Google Scholar searches Georgetown Library resources and those of our consortia libraries to determine if we have access to the resource you are searching. Note that these searches are not always complete, so be sure to check HoyaSearch if you find a resource that does not appear to be available.

Q: How comprehensive is Google Scholar?
A: Google Scholar searches resources from many publishers as well as many open access materials. These searches however, only cover a small portion of the literature that is available.

Q: What kind of articles are available through Google Scholar?
A: Google Scholar searches will deliver a mix of peer-reviewed and non-peer-reviewed articles and pre-print articles, so users will need to assess their search results accordingly.
